Mexico? Nope. Honduras? Nope. Philippines? Nope. Where then? It's Main Street in Huntington Beach on Valentines Day 2012. The Tueaday evening Street Fair and Farmer's Market was shrouded in darkness when the electricity failed in the area. Some vendors, such as this one, powered their own illumination with a generator.

Modern Romance

On the evening of St. Valentine's Day 2012 the downtown section of Huntington Beach suffered an electrical outage. The Tuesday night Street Fair and Farmer's Market was shrouded in darkness.

Some vendors employed emergency lighting to illuminate their kiosks, while others resorted to flashlights.

Here is a young couple who refused to let the darkness come between them.
