"Hey Sailor,..."
On Pacific Coast Highway, Across from Harpoon Harry's and also across from Captain Jack's, there is a shop that sells nautical antiques. These two fellows have been standing outside that shop for as long as I can remember.

North and South from PCH
Huntington Beach from Pacific Coast Highway. Holga 120N, with Kodak Portra 400 film. (Thought I was shooting 6x6. Only when I got the images back did I realize I was shooting 6x4.5.) Neverthless, I love the Portra 400.
North, with the Palos Verdes Peninsula just visible on the horizon.
South, with the pier in the distance. The building on the end of the pier with the red roof is Ruby's Diner.

Gull Over Ruby's Diner
Out on the end of the Huntington Beach Pier stands Ruby's Diner. This gull hovered over Ruby's one afternoon. The pink appearance to his (or her) feathers is caused by the reflection off Ruby's roof, which is red.

Photoshoot at the Far End of the Pier
At the far end of the pier one day, after having lunch at Ruby's. They serve a delicious malted milk there! You can just make out Catalina Island on the horizon.
Canon T-50 and Canon 28mm FD lens. The film was Kodak Gold 400.

Fireball Over HB
The Vivitar PN2011 does strange things with light when the lens is flipped. Here is an example. This was taken from my car window while stopped at a light on Pacific Coast Highway near Main Street.
The film I used was Memories brand 200 ASA I believe.

Duffy Boat Shop
I love this little building on PCH just north of Warner. The place has changed ownership recently and the new people have changed the colors. The office space up top, which is red in my image above, has since been painted black; I think it was better in red.

Donut Derelict
The "Donut Derelicts" meet on Saturday mornings at Adams Avenue Donuts. (Unless there's a car show or rain or something.) Get there early though, because come 8 or 8:30 these guys are starting to scram!
I used a Canon 7D and Canon 50mm EF 1.4 lens for this image.

Island Peoples Whoop It Up at Central Park!
Sunday, September 18, 2011 was the second day of the 4th annual Pacific Islander Festival at Huntington Beach Central Park. Music, dancing, singing, food. It was a grand time!
I took this image with my Holga 120N and Kodak Portra 400 film.
